Canford is launching several significant additions to its Tecpro range at ABTT 2013

New loudspeaker station designs and a plug and play Tecpro to RTS system interface are among the products being given their UK debut on stand 85 at the ABTT Theatre Show.
Tecpro LS352 Loudspeaker Station, Dual Circuit, Desk Top
Tecpro SC931 Tecpro to Tecpro System Combiner
Tecpro SI921 Tecpro to RTS System Interface
Three new loudspeaker stations will be on show including desktop, wall and rack mounting versions. They provide local monitoring of intercom circuits without the need for headphones, with contribution to the conversation made possible via the built-in microphone. Feedback cancellation circuitry helps avoid acoustic howl-round when speaker and mic are operating simultaneously. If sound spillage is an issue, plugging in a headset will automatically mute the loudspeaker. All new stations feature “remote mic kill” circuitry to help keep intercom lines free of unwanted noise.
Linking a touring intercom system with a venue’s permanent installed intercom can cause tempers to get severely frayed. Two new plug and play combiner units provide a simple and elegant solution for joining two independent Tecpro wired intercom systems together or a Tecpro and RTS TW intercom without compromising the performance of either system. Both combiner units are compatible with earlier Tecpro designs.
The SI921 Tecpro to RTS system interface was designed to combine a Tecpro wired intercom with an RTS TW system. Traditionally, linking these technically incompatible systems involved employing two-four wire adapters which were seldom straightforward to set up. The new SI921 requires no set up, automatically adjusting for the different system audio levels and allowing ‘Call Alert’ and ‘Remote Mic Kill’ control signals to pass unhindered between the two independent intercom ranges.
The SC931 system combiner was developed to link two independent Tecpro wired intercom systems together. It allows both the audio and Tecpro control signals to pass directly between the two linked intercoms while keeping both 24V DC power supplies separate and independent.
